Sell Your Tools
There is no denying that you will get the best prices by selling tools individually. You can list your tools on Craig's List but don't expect to get full value there, you will get lots of lowball offers, and be careful of scammers. You are most likely to get the best price on eBay, but remember eBay is not free like Craig's List. eBay has listing fees and takes a cut of the selling price including shipping cost, so you will give eBay 15% or so of the selling price.
If you want to reduce the hassle, I'm always buying. I buy small lots, collections, and entire estates. I will make you a fair offer but keep in mind that I can't pay full retail and stay in business. If shipping is required I add extra to cover some of that cost.
